Mentha oil falls more than 1.75%

The prices of Mentha oil reduced by more than 1.75 percent in the domestic market due to reduced positions by the traders on back of decreasing demand from the consuming industries. According to the analysts, increased inventories from the producing areas of chandausi in Uttar Pradesh effected the prices of Mentha oil.

At the MCX, Mentha Oil future for May 2013 contract was trading at Rs. 942.60, down by 1.85 per cent after opening at Rs. 960.00 against the previous close of Rs. 960.40. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 941.00 till the trading. (At 04.31 PM today)
