L&T jumps nearly 4% on turning ex-bonus today

Shares of engineering and construction major Larsen and Tubro spurted nearly 4 per cent in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after stocks of company have tuned ex-bonus today.

The business conglomerate has fixed July 13, 2013 as the record date for determining the members entitled to receive the bonus shares.

Boosted by development, shares of the company gained as much as 3.92 per cent to trade at Rs 979.80 a piece on the BSE.


Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 19,625.61, up 331.49 points or 1.79 per cent at 9:45 hours.
