RBI reallocates portfolios of deputy governors
The Reserve Bank of India on Monday reallocated the portfolios of its three deputy governors after the retirement of Anand Sinha, who relinquished his charge recently.

The three deputy governors K.C. Chakrabarty, H.R. Khan and Urjit R. Patel have been assigned some additional responsibilities for temporary basis till the appointment of the new deputy governor.

"The department of customer service, banking supervision, currency management, financial stability unit, human resources management, rural planning & credit, secretary's, premises, urban banks, legal , and co-ordination work will be look after by K.C. Chakrabarty," RBI said in a press release.

On the other hand, the departments of information technology and expenditure and budgetary control will be under Khan and Patel, respectively. Khan will also look after the inspection portfolio, while the legal portfolio has been transferred to Chakrabarty, RBI said.
