Maruti Suzuki India dips on Gujarat project concerns

Shares of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd fell in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) as its problems with regard to its Gujarat project are far from over as some proxy shareholder advisory firms said they may recommend to investors to vote against the revised proposal as well.

The shares of company fell as much as 0.21 per cent to trade at Rs 1865 a piece on the BSE.


In a similar fashion, shares of the company fell 0.33 per cent to Rs 1862 a piece on National Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 21,809.73, down 22.88 points or 0.09 per cent at 10:35 hours.
