The 1.45 crore initial public offer of Wonderla Holidays has received overwhelming response from investors, subscribing 37.80 times on Wednesday, as per data available on the exchange website. The company intends to use net proceeds from the issue for setting up an amusement park Wonderla in Hyderabad and general corporate purposes.
Riding high on investors response, shares of company gained as much as 6.25 per cent to trade at Rs 170.00 a piece on BSE.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 22,587.01, up 242.97 points or 1.09 per cent at 11.15 hours.
