    Duty free baggage allowance hiked
    To encourage tourism, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Thursday proposed an increase in duty free baggage allowance limit from Rs.35,000 to Rs.45,000.

    Earlier, anyone above 12 years visiting a foreign country for even three days was allowed to bring goods worth up to Rs.35,000 without paying any duty.
