Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd, which operates in the leisure and hospitality sector, on Tuesday has reported its standalone net profit after taxes (PAT) at Rs 10.42 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015.
"The standalone PAT of the company stood at Rs 24.39 crore during the same period a year ago," said Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange on May 19, 2015.
Its total income from operations during the quarter under review stood at Rs 203.92 crore, from Rs 218.62 crore in the year-ago period.
Further, the standalone revenue from operations of the company stood at Rs 203.93 crore during Q4 2014-15, as compared to Rs 218.62 crore during the same period last year.
On the full year basis, the standalone net profit of the company stood at Rs 79.02 crore in the year ended March 2015, as against Rs 94.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. The total income from operations of the company stood at Rs 794.85 crore in the year ended March 2015, as against Rs 777.52 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
The company said the figures are not comparable due to the merger of its wholly-owned subsidiary Bell Towers Resorts.
The board of directors of the company has recommended a dividend of Rs 4 per equity shares of Rs 10 each (i.e. 40 per cent) on 8,87,80,856 equity shares, the company said in a statement.
Reacting to the numbers, shares of the company were trading at Rs 246.35 apiece, down 2.61 per cent, from previous close on BSE at 13:16 hours.
