Shares of SRF rose over 7 per cent in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in an otherwise subdued market. Since June 12, the shares of textile manufacturer have rallied after the government extended the anti-dumping duty on Nylon Tyre Cord Fabric from China. The S&P BSE Sensex gained 5.3 per cent during the same period.
Following the development, shares of the company gained 7.28 per cent to Rs 1200.40 a piece on Bombay Stock Exchange.
In a similar trend, shares of the company surged 14.85 per cent to Rs 203 a piece on National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 27,768, down 127.70 points, or 0.46 per cent at 11.35 hours.
