Synthetic food colors maker Vidhi Dyestuffs Manufacturing Ltd on Monday said it has commissioned new manufacturing shed, on September 5, 2015, at its factory premises situated at Roha, dist. Raigad, Maharashtra.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said, "A new manufacturing shed was commissioned at our factory premises situated at 68, MIDC, Dhatav, Roha, dist. Raigad, Maharashtra, the operation has commenced from 05th day, September, 2015."
The company further said its production capacity will increase by 1400 metric tones a year.
The new development would enable the company to service this ever growing demand of its consumers world wide, Vidhi Dyestuffs Manufacturing said in a statement.
The company manufactures and trades in synthetic food colors and trades in chemicals. It offers synthetic water soluble colors, aluminum lakes, D&C colors, blends and natural colors, as well as U.S. FDA permitted colors and lakes. It manufactures edible food colors as ingredient for foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, confectionery, pet foods, healthcare, dairy, soft drinks, and cosmetic industries.
Meanwhile, shares of the company were trading at Rs 43.10 apiece, down 1.60 per cent, from previous close on BSE at 12:21 hours.
