SpiceJet gains nearly 2% on introducing new aircrafts

Shares of SpiceJet rose nearly 2 per cent on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after the company decided to induct six new aircrafts into its fleet to its schedule from Kochi effective from October 25.

The airline has augmented its frequencies on the Kochi - Mumbai and Kochi-Hyderabad routes while adding a new onward connection to Ahmedabad from Kochi.

Following the development, shares of the company gained 1.71 per cent to Rs 29.80 a piece on Bombay Stock Exchange.

 

Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 27,059.49, down 28.02 points, or 0.10 per cent at 11.30 hours.
