Shares of Page Industries, popularly known as Jockey India, plunged after the company reported a lower-than-expected 14.05 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 68.67 crore compared with Rs 60.21 crore reported for the same quarter last year.
Page Industries shares ended trade at Rs 14,020.20, lower by 6.39 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 13,500 during trade.

Shares of Jain Irrigation Systems rallied oafter the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 28 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 (Q2FY17) against a net loss of Rs 5.4 crore in the year ago period.

State Bank of India, the country's largest lender reported a net profit of Rs 2,538 crores for the quarter ending Sept 30, 2016, as against Rs 3,879 crores for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
SBI shares ended trade at Rs 274, lower by 2.70 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high and 52-week high of Rs 288 during trade.
Shares of Wockhardt dropped on Friday after the company reported consolidated net profit down 81.6 percent at Rs 17 crore against Rs 92.5 crore (YoY).
