Cox & Kings Ltd on Tuesday reported a fall of 76.6 per cent in its consolidated net profit after tax at Rs 27.32 crore in the July-September quarter of FY 17.
However, the consolidated total income of the company grew by 11.3 per cent at Rs 2,575.34 crore during Q2 2016-17, as compared to Rs 2,314.61 crore during the same period a year ago.
The total expenses of the company increased to Rs 2,399.48 crore during Q2 2016-17, as against Rs 2,006.68 crore during the same period last fiscal.
On standalone basis, it has posted a net profit of Rs 34.32 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 41.01 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015. Total income has increased from Rs 683.34 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 to Rs 744.03 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016.
Meanwhile, shares of the company were trading at Rs 164.50 apiece, down 2.52 per cent, from previous close on BSE at 10:42 hours.
