A Look At May Discounts From Major Carmakers In India

Note: Discount offers are as per dealers of the different automobile companies, hence may witness changes from dealer to dealer and city to city basis.

Maruti Suzuki: Largest automobile maker who made the news with the highest market capitalization in the secondary market. For its low-end models, Alto 800 and WagonR, the company is offering a discount of Rs. 15000 and Rs 15,000-Rs 20000 exchange bonus respectively.

In its premier segment, for purchase of diesel variant of Celerio, customer would get Rs. 15000 as exchange bonus while Rs. 20000 and Rs. 25000 on petrol variants.

For its Swift version, discount as well exchange offers are also available. Also, the companu has made the floor open for booking its new Dzire version chiefly targeted at young car drivers.

Hyundai:

Barring the newly introduced 2017 Xcent, discounts or exchange offers are available on nearly the company's entire car range. On purchase of Eon, you get a free insurance clubbed with a cash discount of Rs. 10000 or an exchange bonus of Rs. 15000.

On its Verna car, Hyundai is offering a substantial discount of Rs. 25000 or a exchange bonus to the extent of Rs. 30,000.

Other versions 2017 Grand i10, Elite i20 or i20 Active are also offering pretty handsome deals. So do check before, with your nearest dealer.

Volkswagen

German car major that succeeded to grab a pretty good share in the Indian automobile market (Major market share is in the hands of Maruti and Hyundai) is also offering discount on Polo on both its diesel and petrol version to the tune of Rs. 30,000. On its Ameo folio, a discount in the range of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 is on offer.

Tata Motors

Exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000 is available for Nano, Bolt as well as Zest. On making a purchase, free insurance is also being provided. However, no cash discounts are available as told.

Honda Motors:

For its Amaze model that earned huge revenues for the company in recent times, the company is offering a exchange offer of Rs. 20,000. For its BRIO model, an exchange bonus of Rs. 25000 is available.
