Shares of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone fell over 4 per cent on the Bombay stock Exchange after media reported that Adani group has deferred investment decision for its Australian project.
Reacting to the news, shares of the company declined as much as 4.02 per cent to hit intra-day low of Rs 339.70 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The scrip was currently trading at Rs 344.10 against previous close price of Rs 353.95.
In a similar fashion, stocks of firm were trading 2.92 per cent lower at Rs 344.10 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 30,409.85, down 161.52 points or 0.53 per cent, at 11:50 hour.
