Shares of Videocon Industries continued losing streak for the fifth day, eroding another 10 per cent and locked in lower circuit on the Bombay stock Exchange amid surge in the volume trade.
The company has lost 53 per cent from Rs 100.45 to Rs 47.30 in the last five trading session, ahead of its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 due today.
Extending previous session losses, shares of the company declined as much as 9.99 per cent to hit fresh 52-week low of Rs 47.30 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The scrip was currently trading at Rs 47.30 against previous close price of Rs 52.55.
In a similar fashion, stocks of firm were trading 9.97 per cent lower at Rs 47.85 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 30,936.64, up 186.61 points or 0.61 per cent, at 12:10 hour.
