Telecom Connections To Not Terminate If Aadhar Seeding Not Done
After the recent deadline announced for aadhaar linking with mobile number new announcement has been made.
The minister upheld the view that mobile connections for those who do link their numbers with unique ID by the newly announced deadline February 6 shall still be active.
This has come in after some of the individuals have shown reluctance to link their numbers to Aadhaar. At the same time, the government is trying to carve out a way for enabling linking of Aadhaar with their for those who are currently outside India.
Also the sim verification process has been made simpler with OTP facility and also can be done via aadhaar without the requirement to get the biometric verified by the service provider.
