Union Budget 2018 To Be Presented On February 1

The Winter session of the Parliament ended on Friday and both the Lower and Upper house together passed as many as 13 Bills.

After the day for budget presentation changed from the last working day of February to the first day last year during the last budgetary session, the practice shall continue with budget 2018 to be announced on February 1 by the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

Union Budget 2018 To Be Presented On February 1

The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs recommended budget dates to the President and as told to the reporters the first phase of the budgetary session will commence from January 29 and end on February 9. Later after a halt for about one month, the second phase shall resume from March 5 and continue till April 6.
