The Delhi High Court upheld a single judge order accepting Delhi International Airport Ltd's (DIAL) decision to partially shift IndiGo and SpiceJet's operations from Indira Gandhi International airport's T1 to T2 terminal.
A bench of Justices Hima Kohli and Rekha Palli have directed IndiGo and SpiceJet to approach DIAL within one week while the airport authority decides when the airlines have to shift their operations.
Indigo and SpiceJet's plea challenged the Delhi High Court's single judge order of December 20, 2017 upholding DIAL's decision of partially shifting operations of private carriers IndiGo, SpiceJet and GoAir to Terminal 2.
Flights from Delhi to Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru were to be moved to T2 from January 4.
GoAir has shifted all its operations to T2 as partially shifting would 'kill' the small airline.
