Kotak Mahindra Bank Hits 52-Week High Post Q4 2018 Results

    The shares of private lender, Kotak Mahindra Bank surged over 5 percent, hitting 52-week high, on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) amid spurt in volume trade after the lender reported 15.1 percent year-on-year growth in terms of net profit at Rs 1,124 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2018 (Q4 2018).

    Driven by the volume trade, stocks of the private bank gained as much as 5.49 percent to touch a 52-week high of Rs 1276.90 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

    In a similar trend, shares of the lender were trading 4.99 percent higher at Rs 1,271.50 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

    Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 35,194.70, up by 34.34 points, or 0.10 percent at 11:10 hours.
