Between July 5 and August 12, the limit was at 65%. And before that even lower. The ministry has now in its recent order issued modified the August 12 order and states that "72.5 per cent capacity may be read as 85 per cent capacity". Saturday's order also noted that the 72.5 per cent cap will remain in place "until further order".

After the airlines resumed operation in May last year after a gap of 2 months they were allowed to operate at a capacity of not over 33 percent of their pre-Covid capacities. Later the cap until June 1 was at 80%.
