About PM Cares For Children
On May 29, 2021, The Hon'ble Prime Minister of India inaugurated the PM CARES for Children Scheme for the Children. It seeks to assist children who have lost both parents or legal guardians, adoptive parents, or surviving parents due to the COVID-19 pandemic beginning on March 11, 2020. The scheme's goal is to provide complete support and treatment to children on a long-term basis, as well as to facilitate their health via health insurance, strengthen them through education, and prepare them for self-sufficiency with financial assistance when they hit the age of 23.
