|

Last week, eight of the top ten most valuable companies increased their market capitalization by Rs 1,28,503.47 crore, with IT giants Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys leading the way. The company's market capitalization is calculated using the current share price and the total number of outstanding shares. It is calculated by multiplying the current market price of the company's stock by the total number of outstanding shares.

According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), India's nominal Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is valued at US$ 2.87 trillion, making it the world's sixth-largest economy. This is primarily due to the business that various Indian corporations have conducted both in India and abroad.
