This Footwear Company To Soon Pay 80% Final Dividend & 1,010% Special Dividend, Check Ex-Dividend Date

Bata India Ltd.'s in its declared results has said its total net profit rose 113% to Rs 62.9 crore in the March quarter, up from Rs 29.4 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations increased by 12.7% to Rs 665.2 crore, up from Rs 589 crore the previous year. It shows the company has given robust revenue.

However, this is not the only reason to buy the Bata India shares. The company has recently declared a final and special dividend. The declared special dividend is the first special dividend in the company's history of dividends. The board of directors of Bata India Ltd has stated in their filling to BSE, "The Board at the Meeting recommended a Dividend of Rs. 54.5 (1090%) per equity share of Rs. 5/- each fully paid-up of the Company, which includes onetime Special Dividend of Rs. 50.5 (1010%) per equity share of Rs. 5/- each fully paid-up of the Company, for the year ended March 31, 2022, for approval of the Members at the AGM. The payment of dividend, is subject to approval of the shareholders, at the AGM."

Ex-Dividend Date: Investors should note that the ex-dividend date is 04th August 2022.
