This is a 27-year old Flexi cap fund launched on September 29, 1994, by the Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund. It is an open-ended medium-sized fund of its category.

The fund has worth Rs 9743.74 crore size of Assets Under Management (AUM). The Net Asset Value (NAV) of this fund declared on 20th May 2022 is Rs 959.6131. The fund has an expense ratio of 1.15%. While the category average expense ratio is 0.91%.

The fund aims to provide growth of capital and regular dividend from a portfolio of equity, debt and money market instruments and focus on wealth-creating companies across all sectors and market cap ranges. Its benchmark is NIFTY 50 TRI.

The fund is rated highly risky for investments, however, it is rated 4-star by the CRISIL, previously it was 3-star rated. Also, it has given better, particularly above than among its peer funds.

The majority of the fund's assets are invested in the financial, technology, consumer staples, energy, and automobile sectors. ICICI Bank Ltd., Infosys Ltd., HDFC Bank Ltd., Axis Bank Ltd., and Bharti Airtel Ltd. are the fund's top holdings.
