The bank divides the specified FD into 1 rupee units when you apply for the sweep-in facility. This ensures that funds are available in your linked sweep-in Savings or Current Account. This prevents cheques or other debit transactions from your account from being hampered due to insufficient funds in your Savings/Current Account. What is Sweep-in Facility?

Step-1 Access your NetBanking account How to Apply for Sweep- in Facility?

Choose 'Fixed Deposit Sweep-in.' It is accessed through the Fixed Deposit tab Step-2

You must choose which Savings Account and FD numbers will be linked for the sweep-in Step-3

To enable the feature, click 'continue' and 'confirm' Step-4
