DenaBank - Appointment of Director

Dena Bank has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3)(g) of section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (b) of clause 9(2) of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Central Government, after consultation with Reserve Bank of India, has nominated Shri J. Balasubramanian, vide notification dated June 30, 2011 as a part-time non official Director under Chartered Accountant category, on the Board of Dena Bank, for a period of three years with effect from the date of notification of his appointment or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
