Educomp Solutions spurts nearly 4% after SEBI dispose case against company on Rs 1 lakh consent fee

Cheering to the news that SEBI has disposed case against the globally diversified education solutions provider company on Rs 1 lakh consent fee, shares of Educomp Solutions Ltd spurted nearly 4 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange in early trading.

Buoyed by the development, shares of the company started the day on positive note and witnessed a gain of as much 3.97 per cent to Rs 163.30 a piece on BSE.

However, there was contraction in volume of trade with 1.14 lakh shares changing hands till now compared to average of 3.64 lakhs shares in daily trade on BSE.

In a similar fashion, shares of the company were trading at Rs 161.10, up 2.78 per cent on the National Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 16,202.36, up 172.27 points or 1.07 per cent at 10:22 hours.
