M&M's farm equipment division introduces 2 millionth tractor: Media Reports

Globally leading tractor manufacturer in terms of volume, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) has introduced its two millionth tractor from its Kandivali Plant in Mumbai, said the media reports.

The tractor was rolled out by M&M, President, Automotive & Farm Equipment Sectors, Pawan Goenka last week at a ceremony attended by the company officials, workers and union representatives, the report added.

The company's farm equipment division had introduced its one millionth tractor in the year 2004, and has reached the 2 million mark within a short time span of 8 years.

"The journey till the rollout of the 2 millionth tractor has been challenging and exciting for us. We are happy that over the years we have been able to make a significant contribution to the lives of the Indian farmer. Going ahead, we look forward to providing more value for them not only through our tractors but our agri-based services as well, enabling them to Rise," Goenka told media.
