Bengaluru Power Cut On January 22 & January 23: BESCOM Declares Up To 9-Hours Power Outage; Affected Areas

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has declared mega power outages on January 22 and January 23. Electricity is likely to be disrupted in Bengaluru, talukas, and other villages for approximately nine hours. The reason behind the outages is maintenance work, which is scheduled. BESCOM asked citizens to cooperate and make necessary adjustments to cope with the outage.

Bescom Power Cut On January 22:

BESCOM said there will be power outages at 10 different places in the villages under the jurisdiction of Nandigudi. This is because of monthly maintenance work carried from 10 am to 5.30 pm.

Affected Areas: 10 am to 5.30 pm

Some of the affected areas could be Nandigudi, Vasana, Ingalagondi, Hulaginahole, Jerehole, Marahalli, GT Katte, Govina Halu, Noosikondi, Ukkadagatri and surrounding areas.

Apart from this BESCOM has announced construction of an interim 66KV Tower and conductor pair work to provide electricity conncection to the NG Halli and G Halli power distribution centers of Jodidar is starting from January 22nd.

The work is carried from 9 am to 6 pm.

Affected Areas: 9 am to 6 pm

Regions like Ramagiri, Thuppadahalli, Singenahalli, Talikatte, Hanumali, Dognanal, Dummi, Kalkere, Rangapur, Bommanahalli, Gaudihalli, Kadur, Chikkandavadi,and surrounding villages will be impacted.

Further, BESCOM said repair work is also being undertaken in the city's sub-division and there will be power outage on January 22 from 10 am to 6 pm.

Affected Areas: 10 am to 6 pm

Locations like Shivajinagar, RMC market front, KSRTC Depot Back, Santhepete, Jyothi Nagar, Sachin Layout, Nagajjigudlu, Togaragunte, Kotta, Madalur and Bandakunte will be impacted.

Power Cut On January 23?

BESCOM had already declared maintenance work from January 21 to January 23 from 10 am to 5 pm.

On January 22nd, areas around Dodda Yenlegare, Belaguli, and Mattighatta sub-station could be impacted.

While on January 23, there will be power outages in areas of Chikkanayaka-Nahalli, Huliyaru, Katrikehal, Handanakere, and Thimmanahalli.
