Bengaluru Power Cut On December 8 Or Not? 8-Hour Long Power Outage In These Areas: Check Full List

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) is likely to end its 8-hour long maintenance work on December 8. Earlier, the power distributor announced that they began maintenance, upgrades, and safety checks from December 4th to December 8th in regions of Whitefield, Hoodi and much more.

Bengaluru Power Cut From December 4 To December 8:

BESCOM authorities have explained that these outages are routine and meant to improve the quality and reliability of the electricity supply. They emphasise that the cuts are not due to a shortage or any major issue. Most power interruptions will be limited to certain feeders or small neighborhood pockets, and supply will usually return once the work at each location is completed, as per Native Planet.

The work will begin from 10 am to 6 pm.

The outage is likely to impact areas across North, South, East, West, and Central Bengaluru . Bescom declared residents to cooperate and take necessary precautions during the power outage.

BESCOM emphasized that the work will be carried out with focus to minimize inconvenience for households and commercial establishments that require an uninterrupted power supply.

Affected Areas:

Some of the affected areas could be Whitefield, Hoodi, ITPL and Mahadevapura, Shivajinagar, Richmond Town and stretches near MG Road.

The power outage comes at a time when weather is expected to be partly cloudy but would range between 27°C and 17°C for next 48 hours.

For the next 24 hours, IMD is expecting partly cloudy sky. It said, fog/mist very likely during early morning hours in some areas. Maximum & Minimum temperature very likely to be around 27°C and 17°C respectively.

Meanwhile, for next 48 hours, the weather is expected to same as above.
