Jana Small Finance Bank Offers 9.75% Return For FD Investors

To mark the country's 71st Republic day this year, Bengaluru based microlender, Jana Small Finance Bank has made FD investment even more lucrative for senior citizens by offering a return of 9.75% p.a. The offer is exclusively extended to those who open a fixed deposit account with the bank between January 22, 2019, and January 28, 2019 and a minimum tenure to fetch this return is kept at three years.

For other regular customers, the interest rate is pegged at 9%, if they maintain the FD account with the bank for 3 years. Another scheme of the bank, Fixed deposit Plus fetches 9.25% with no premature withdrawal.

The bank is offering an interest of 8.75 per cent, 9 per cent, 8.5 per cent and 7 per cent on fixed deposits (FD) of tenure from 181 days to 365 days, from over 1 year to 3 years, from over 3 years to 5 years and from more than 5 years to 10 years, respectively.
It is to be noted that the return of 9.75% holds true for deposits less than Rs. 1 crore and for still higher deposit amounts, the customers can approach the bank to get the interest rate on offer.

Investment in a fixed deposit will also make the customers eligible for a Jana Bankable Debit card which comes with welcome benefits worth Rs 15,000 on top brand.
