Also, the bank is the only one two offer a uniform rate across 2 to 10 years tenure. The FD rate is 7.65%. And senior citizens are eligible to earn 0.75% extra over and above the slab rate specified for other citizens.

FD rates depend on a host of factors from liquidity, monetary policy stance of the Reserve Bank etc.
