WPI Inflation Falls To -0.92% In April 2023
India's Wholesale Price Index (WPI) inflation witnessed a dip to -0.92% for the month of April 2023 on an annual basis from 1.34% reported in March, according to data released by Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry here on Monday.

It is worth noting that April emerged as the 11th consecutive month when WPI Inflation witnessed a fall. Meanwhile, the primary articles inflation slowed to 1.60% in April from 2.40% reported in March.
Fuel and power inflation has come down to 0.93% for the month of April from 8.96% reported in March. Inflation in manufactured products fell to -2.42% in April from -0.77% announced in March.
