1:1 Bonus Issue Record Date: Infra Stock Below Rs 150, Turned Ex-Bonus; 348% Returns In 12 Months

GPT Infraprojects, a civil construction company, turned ex-bonus on July 3 and closed near its adjusted 52-week high. The stock is currently below Rs 150, affordable for investors. However, only those shareholders will be eligible for free bonus shares who have GPT Infra stocks in their demat accounts by the end of the record date. GPT is a smallcap and multi-bagger with gains of over 340% in 12 months.

On BSE, GPT's stock ended at Rs 146.90 apiece, up by 0.82% with a market cap of Rs 1,709.09 crore. The stock is near its 52-week high of Rs 152 apiece, while is trading higher by 365% from its 52-week low of Rs 31.58 apiece.

YTD, the stock rallied by 73.5%, while in a year, the stock jumped by 348% on BSE.

GPT Infraprojects Bonus Issue:

The company turned ex-bonus on July 3 which is also its record date for bonus issues in the ratio of 1:1. Meaning, the company will issue a Bonus Issue of 1 () Equity share of ₹ 10 each for every 1 (One) Equity share of ₹10 each held by the shareholders by the capitalization of Reserves, subject to the approval of the same by the shareholders through postal ballot.

Additionally, the company also recommended a 3rd Interim Dividend @ 10% i.e. ₹ 1.00 per Equity share. The record date for payment of interim dividends for shares in physical as well as in demat form has been fixed on May 30, 2024. The Company has already paid Interim dividend @ 20% i.e 2.00 per equity share in FY 2023-24. Total dividend including the 3rd interim dividend for FY 2023-24 is ₹ 3.00 per Equity share on face value of ₹ 10 per share. For the interim dividend, the record date was May 30, 2024.

GPT Infraprojects Fundraising:

Going ahead, the company's board of directors are scheduled to meet on July 5, 2024, to consider, evaluate and approve proposal to raise funds by issue of equity shares or other securities including through preferential issue, qualified institutional placement, rights issue, or through any other permissible mode or a combination thereof, subject to such statutory/ regulatory approvals as may be required, including approval of shareholders of the Company, as applicable.
