Elecon Engineering, a smallcap stock backed by ace investors like Vijay Kedia, is set to split next week. The company has fixed July 19 as the record date for its shares sub-division in the ratio of 1:2. Meaning, investors like Vijay Kedia's holding in Elecon will double.
In 1963, Elecon ventured into manufacturing power transmission equipment and established an independent Gear Division in 1976. With over six decades of expertise, Elecon stands as Asia's largest industrial gearbox manufacturer, boasting a global presence across all the continents.
