KPI Green Energy, a power generating company, witnessed selling pressure amid a bear market, despite turning ex-dividend for its final payout of 4% for FY24 on October 4, 2024. On Friday, the stock ended at Rs 809.15 apiece, down by 2.7% on BSE.
The company's market cap stood at Rs 10,620.94 crore.
The renewable energy stock turned ex-dividend in October for a 4% final dividend worth Rs 0.20 per share. Earlier in August, the company had also delivered 4% interim dividend worth Rs 0.20 per share.
The dividend payouts come after the company rewarded investors with bonus issues and stock splits.
