Broking Firms Where You Can Get Good Personal Stock Advise
If you are new to trading, you must look at firms that offer you good stock advise. The low cost brokers in our experience or the so called discount brokers, do not fall in this category, though there maybe some exceptions.
This is because I have not had the experience of opening account with all the brokers and that is not possible nor sensible. That does not mean that they are not good, in fact, they could even be better. But, it is not practically to write on all.
Sharekhan
This is probably among the top broking firms in the country in terms of number of accounts. The broking firm after opening the account, does allow its executives to also offer good service. For example, I have had personal experience where the executive comes across and explains the trading software and stuff. Advise is also at hand on which stocks to buy and sell.
There are regular research reports as well.
The brokerage is flexible and can go to as low as 0.05% for intra day trading, both ways.
Geojit BNP Paribas
Geojit is a listed stock broker. The firm does offer good stock advise and there are daily reports that are available. There is a lot of advise that comes forth from this broker.
In case there are trading issue related complaints or if shares are not credited in the account, the broking firm resolves the same through a dedicated call centre.
The stock broking firm is not very flexible when it comes to broking charges and it may not be the best around. The broking charges are slightly above that offered by Sharekhan.
However, the service offered is good.
Karvy Stock Broking
Karvy Stock Broking too provides good service and the portal to log into is pretty good. The trading software too is pretty friendly.
The firm also provides a good round-up of the entire market in early morning trade. You can also call and trade. Apart from this like most other broking firms you can trade in commodities, currency etc.
Generally, you can leave you name and number through the portal and the brokerage firm will call you back.
Conclusion
While there are many broking firms as we mentioned that could provide good service, we have highlighted just a few. This is a personal experience that we have written from.
Getting the right broking firm is extremely important before you open an account.
For example, if you are not comfortable with the software, chances are bright that you would end-up struggling to place a trade.
It is therefore important that you speak to a broker and get a clear understanding of things. On the other hand, if you need research reports and are not able to get them, your account maybe of little use.
