SBI Buddy: How To Use the Features?

State Bank Buddy is a digital platform offered by SBI, by which customers can simply send or ask money from any of their contacts even if they do not have an SBI account. SBI Buddy can be downloaded from Google Play store by searching for State Bank Buddy by using the keyword "State Bank". You can click on install and download the app.

People can also give missed call on 09021122222 and will receive a link via SMS to download State Bank Buddy.

All the Indian national having a mobile number and above the age of 10 Years are eligible to download and use the State Bank Buddy services.

Send Money using Buddy

In the time of demonetization, you can avoid long queues at the ATMs for cash by using SBI Buddy. State Bank Buddy enables users to transfer money in seconds. You need to select a contact from your phone book / Facebook, enter the amount and security pin for sending money anytime, anywhere and to anyone.

Ask Money using Buddy

You can request your friends/ contacts/ merchants /customers to send money to your wallet. Using Buddy customers can ask for owed money or simply ask for money when in need. Buddy ensures that you can raise requests for money instantly and send reminders with just a click. You need to select your contact and send an Ask Money request. Buddy will track it till you get your money back.

Recharge

Customers can recharge your prepaid mobile and DTH using SBI Buddy. Choose the Recharge and Bill Pay option on you Buddy and get your top up instantly.

How to pay bills with Buddy

Customers can pay their electricity and gas bills on Buddy instantly anytime and anywhere. Select your billing details, pay the required bill amount.

Booking tickets

Now people can book flights and hotels on the Buddy mobile app. Customers have to visit Shop and Earn section on State Bank Buddy, select the flight / hotel of your choice, play using your wallet balance and get a booking instantly.

Online merchant payments

SBI Buddy offers online merchant payments, users can pay to their merchant nearby who is registered on Buddy Merchant app through the Pay Now facility.

Book Movie Tickets

Buddy mobile app also helps to book movie tickets. Browse for Shop and Earn section on State Bank Buddy, select the movie which you want to see, select your seats, pay using your wallet balance and get your tickets to your favorite movie instantly.

View Your Statements

Users can click on ‘My Transactions' option to view the transaction history. There is an option to view the last 25 transactions.
