How To Apply For PM Awas Yojana (PMAY)?

PMAY is considered to be a primary mission by the government which will be implemented during 2015-2022 and will provide central assistance to Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and other implementing agencies to States/UTs for:

• In-situ Rehabilitation of existing slum dwellers using land as a resource through private participation
• Credit Linked Subsidy
• Affordable Housing in Partnership

Online Application Procedure

Before start applying you need to ensure that you are eligible for applying, check the internet connection, you should have an Aadhaar number, and you have to provide accurate details of your annual income. Budget 2017: Development Schemes Focused On

Step 1

Open the official website of PMAY by clicking on this link pmaymis.gov.in. Select options of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana application from "Citizen Assessment" menu.
You will see two options:

• For Slum Dwellers
• Benefits of other 3 Components

 

Step 2

Select one link from Citizen Assessment menu. If you are currently living in the slum area, then select "For Slum Dwellers." If you are living in rural, urban or semi-urban area select "Benefits under other 3 Components" from the drop down menu.

Step 3

In the new window, fill the details correctly including your personal details, contact details, current residential address, Aadhar Number, Bank Account details, house details, mobile number and income detailed information in the application form.

Step 4

After filling the details carefully click the checkbox which says "I am aware that any claims regarding my inclusions/exclusions shall remain with State govt/urban local body and MoHUPA is just facilitating the process."
Fill the captcha code the page has shown and clicked the "Save" button at the end of the application form. You can also click on Save and Print button.

Step 5

After clicking on the "Save" button, you will see a new screen. In that screen, a system generated application number will be given. You have noted this application number. It is better to take a printout of the page. This number will be used for future reference.

Status

You can track the status of your PMAY application on the website at pmaymis.gov.in. Take Printout of Online Application Form of PMAY
You can take a printout of the PMAY online application form filled by you by entering your name, father name & ID type or just the application number.

Editing of application form

You can also make changes in PMAY online application form. After submission of online application form on pmaymis.gov.in, you can also edit the details just by entering your application number and Aadhar number. The facility has been provided to the applicants in case they entered any detail incorrectly or wish to change their contact details.
