RuPay Card is India's answer to MasterCard and Visa. RuPay from India is competing with the widely used Visa, AmEx and others which have dominated the online shopping marketplace over the decade including India.

As of now, RuPay card doesn't have international acceptance, but apart from online shopping, RuPay card holders can use it for air travel booking at Jet Airways and train reservation booking at IRCTC.
