Now Getting A Passport Shall Be Far More Easy: Here's How?
The passport issuance shall be far more easy with the few initiatives of the government.
To make the passport services more customer-friendly, government has introduced a set of initiatives which shall make the issuance of new passport a hassle free and less time consuming experience for customers.

2. Passport offices have tied up with Post Offices wherein head post offices of different states shall serve as Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSK) to provide passport services over larger area. As many as 235 POPSK are to be set up in two phases. So, after an applicant is done with the online application for passport, he or she can fix an appointment with the nearest POPSK to complete the formalities done at the Passport Sewa Kendra before the final issuance of passport.
3. Government to do away with otherwise mandatory physical police verification: Now in not so distant future, physical police verification shall be taken on by the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems Project (CCTNS) with online verification in a year's time.
