Cheques are required for withdrawing money and payment for local purchases. In some cases, while opening the account, account holders do not receive the cheque book due to a mismatch in the address. Mode of delivery
You can either collect the cheque book from the branch or request your branch to send it by post or courier. SBI customer can opt to get the cheque book delivered at your registered address.
