You can now apply for a new PAN Card or even correct the details of your existing PAN Card using UMANG App.
To apply for a new PAN card, citizens would traditionally go to an agent and wait in line at the issuance office (which is only open from Monday to Friday between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm) but this can be time-consuming. Thanks to the government of India's "Digital India" movement, taken by the government of India, you can now apply for your new PAN card or make the corrections using just your smartphone.
The government's mobile application known as UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) app launched year, allows you to access many services with ease. The e-KYC allows you to use the same details as your Aadhaar (like name, photograph, etc) in your PAN. This way, you do not need to worry about uploading a photograph or signature to complete the process.
Step 1
Download the UMANG app and launch it. You can find the UMANG app on your Play Store (android) or the App Store (iOS).
Step 2
Go to 'All Services' and look for My PAN with the blue icon.

Step 5
On completion of the e-KYC and e-sign, you can make payment online to complete your application successfully.
