SBI Quick: How to Use SBI's Missed Call Service?
Do you have an account with India's largest bank, the State Bank of India? If yes, you should learn about "SBI Quick."
SBI Quick service allows you block cards, get mini statements and check your account balance with just a missed call or SMS or using its app. The service can be used only using your registered mobile number.
Features
- The service is available for savings account, current accounts, overdraft accounts and cash credit.
- You cannot use this service for making any transactions. (Use State Bank Anywhere or State Bank Freedom for transactional services)
- No login or password required. You just need to get yourself registered one time.
- You can register only one bank account if your number is linked to two SBI bank accounts.
- You can make unlimited bank enqueries using this feature.
- For 6 digit number i.e. 567676 premium charges will apply.
- For 10 digit numbers, SMS charges will be as per customer's mobile bill plan.
- For Missed Call, there is no charge. If the customers listens to IVR of 3 seconds which will be played after 4-5 rings, then customer will be charged as per customer's mobile bill plan for 3 seconds
One time registration
To register for SBI's 'Quick' service, send an SMS from your mobile number registered with the SBI account.
Type 'REGaccount number' and send it to 09223488888.
Make sure your phone number is updated in the bank's records.

Account services
For checking bank balance:
Give a Missed Call or send an SMS typing ‘BAL' to 09223766666.
For Mini Statement:
You can get the details of you last five bank transactions by giving a missed call on 09223866666 or SMS ‘MSTMT' to the same number.
For E-Statement:
For an e-statement of your SBI savings account of the last 6 months SMS ‘ESTMT to 09223588888.
The statement will be sent to your registered email ID. The "code" to be send in the SMS is a four digit number of your choice to use as the password for the statement which will be sent to you as an encrypted PDF.
ATM card services
Blocking SBI ATM Card
To block your card, SMS ‘BLOCKXXXX' to 567676 (XXXX represents last 4 digit of the card number).
You will receive a confirmation email with ticket number, date and time of blocking.
ATM Card Switch On/Off usage at PoS, ATM, International etc.
You can now control your ATM Card channel of usage by sending an SMS from your registered mobile number. You can choose to activate/deactivate usage at ATM, POS, E-Commerce, International and Domestic
Send ‘SWON/SWOFFATM/POS/ECOM/INTL/DOM XXXX' to 09223966666(XXXX represents last 4 digit of the card number).
For example to activate POS service you will SMS:
SWON POS 1234
To deactivate international usage you will SMS:
SWOFF INTL 1234
You will get a confirmation SMS alert about the same.
Product details and interest certificates
Home and car loans
To get the latest details on car or home loan, SMS ‘HOME' or ‘CAR' to 09223588888. You will receive the details on its features in an instant SMS.
For education interest certificate
Send SMS ELI to 09223588888.
For Home Loan Interest Certificate
Send an SMS HLI 09223588888.
The certificate will be sent to your registered email ID. The "code" to be send in the SMS is a four digit number of your choice to use as the password for the certificate which will be sent to you as an encrypted PDF.
PM Social Schemes
You can now register for Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) by an SMS from the SBI Quick App. As there are more than 3 data items to be provided, it is advisable that this service be availed through the SBI Quick App only.

How to De-register and what are the charges of the service?
To de-register, SMS ‘DREG ' to 09223488888. You will get a confirmation SMS about the same.
Charges:
SBI Quick App can be used without internet
If you have an Android, Windows, iOS or Blackberry phone, you can download SBI Quick app from the respective App Store.
SBI Anywhere can avail SBI Quick facility in the pre-login section. With this app you need not remember the various keywords and destination mobile numbers.
Once app is installed, internet connection is not required to use SBI Quick, as the communication would happen over SMS or Missed Call. Note that mobile app is not mandatory for using this facility.
