In 2017, the Indian government had launched 'Bharat Ke Veer,' a website and mobile application to help and support the lives of the soldiers that serve our country.
If you are also touched by the devastating terrorist attack on the CRPF personnel that took place on 14 February at Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, you can do your bit to help the families of these soldiers.

You have the choice to directly contribute to an individual family of the brave soldier (limited to Rs 15 lakh) or donate to the Bharat Ke Veer corpus.
Your contributions are exempt from tax under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
Please make sure to visit the right website to make your contribution, that is, www.bharatkeveer.gov.in. Beware of the multiple fake applications and website with the same name. Additionally, there may be issues in opening the website due to the traffic that it is receiving at present. Try again in due time.
The "Bharat Ke Veer" app is available for iOS as well as Android users. Note that the maker of the app for both the versions is "NIC (National Informatics Centre) e-Gov Mobile Apps," so as to not download a fake one.
A convoy of vehicles carrying CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway was attacked by a vehicle-bound suicide bomber at Lethpora in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. 46 CRPF personnel have reportedly lost their lives and the responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Pakistan-based militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed.
