1. SBI Balance Enquiry via Toll-free Number
To check the balance of your SBI bank account via a toll-free number, all you have to do is to dial at 09223766666 from your registered mobile number. Once done you will get the balance details on your mobile.

2. SBI Balance Enquiry through SBI ATM
As an SBI account holder, you can also use the ATM-cum-debit card issued to you to check your account balance. Just visit your nearest SBI ATM and follow the below-given steps:
- Insert your SBI ATM-cum-debit card in the ATM card slot
- Enter your 4-digit ATM PIN
- Tap on the "Balance Enquiry" option and you are done.
You can also choose the "Mini Statement" option at the ATM to check your last 10 transactions. You can also visit any other ATM branch to check your account balance by generating a mini statement of your account. Note that RBI has reduced the number of free transactions per ATM card. Balance enquiry request carried out at SBI and non-SBI ATMs is also considered as a transaction.

Type: REG (space) Account Number and send it to 09223488888
You will get a confirmation message on your registered mobile number from SBI. You can also use SMS service to experience an array of banking services provided by SBI such as generating a mini statement, cheque book request, e-statement, education loan interest certificate and home loan interest certificate.
5. SBI Card Balance Enquiry
The SBI credit cardholders can use the SMS service to check their balance and other information. Through sending an SMS to 5676791 one can access different information such as available credit and cash limit, block lost or stolen card, last payment status, reward points summary, e-statement subscription, request for a duplicate statement. 6. SBI Balance Enquiry through Passbook

SBI Anywhere
- Download and install the SBI Anywhere app from the default app store of your mobile.
- Log in with your mobile banking credentials and tap on the 'Balance Enquiry' option.
SBI Online
SBI account holders can conveniently use the SBI online platform to avail SBI banking services at their mobiles such as balance check, account statement, NEFT, IMPS, funds transfer and more. This application has a close user interface as SBI desktop website. Customers can get access to all these banking services instantly by entering the net banking credentials.
SBI Anywhere Saral
SBI Corporate customers can utilize this app to avail banking facilities such as funds transfer, mobile recharge, balance enquiry, mini statement and more. This app can not be used by Retail SBI customers for balance enquiry facility.

8. SBI Balance Enquiry through Missed Call Service
SBI missed call service enables one to conduct a variety of banking operations simply by triggering a missed call. By using this service you can avail an array of banking facilities such as SBI Balance Check, mini-statement, E-statement, education loan certificate statement, home loan certificate statement, ATM PIN generation, details of car loan and more. To use this service you have to register your mobile number which is a one-time process, just type REG (space) Account Number and send it to 09223488888. Once done you will get a successful activation message on your registered mobile number.
9. SBI Balance Enquiry through USSD
Unstructured Supplementary Service Information, termed as 'USSD', is a GSM network topology used for transmitting information between a cellular phone and a network service program. If you have an active SBI account, you can use this service by registering for the USSD service. To use USSD for SBI Balance Enquiry please follow the below-listed steps:
- Dial *595# and enter your User ID
- From the set of options choose 'Option 1' and then select from 'balance enquiry' or 'mini statement'.
- Enter your MPIN and submit
Process to register for SBI Balance Enquiry using USSD
In the following format, account holders who wish to register for SBI Balance Enquiry using the USSD service are required to send SMS.
Type MBSREG and send it to 9223440000 or 567676
Note: As an SBI account holder you will get a "User ID" and default "MPIN" via SMS on your registered mobile number.
