Aadhar Card Update

As per the official handle of UIDAI on social media platform X (earlier Twitter), "UIDAI extends free online document upload facility till 14th June 2024; to benefit millions of Aadhaar holders. This free service is available only on the myAadhaar portal. UIDAI has been encouraging people to keep documents updated in their Aadhaar." Below is the post:

According to UIDAI official website, Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique number issued to residents of India on the basis of demographic as well as biometric details. Aadhaar can significantly stop duplicate numbers among Indian citizens as it is unique and has been linked to an individual's biometrics. It can effectively identify false and ghost identities that may lead to leaks. It is impossible that any resident will have a fake number as Aadhaar card is linked to their individual biometrics which can easily find out ghost identities.
