Aadhaar Details: Learn How To Update Your Details Online On Last Day For Free Updates

Aadhaar cards have become an essential identification document for Indian citizens, serving as a proof of identity and residence. As the government continues to digitize services and streamline processes, it is crucial to ensure that your Aadhaar details are accurate and up to date.

Aadhaar card holders who have not updated their information in the past can update and upload their newest Proof of Identity and Proof of Address documents online for free until June 14, 2023.

The free update can be done online at https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in, according to a Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) update given on March 16, 2023. Cardholders would be charged Rs 50 for the CSC upgrade. The free service is only available for changing demographic data such as address, name, gender, DOB, email address, and phone number.

If someone wishes to update their photograph, iris, or other biometric details, they must still go to an Aadhaar enrollment centre and pay the appropriate price.

How to update Details In Aadhaar Card?

• Visit https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.
• Enter details and log in.
• Click the 'Name/Gender/Date of Birth & Address Update' button.
• Select 'Update Aadhaar Online'.
• From the list of demographic possibilities, choose 'address'
• Now, Click 'Proceed to Update Aadhaar'.
• Enter the required demographic information
• Upload a scanned copy of your changed address.
• You don't have to pay anything if you do it on June 13 or June 14. Alternatively, make a Rs 50 payment.
• A Service Request Number (SRN) will be assigned, save it for later tracking of status.
• You will receive an SMS after an internal quality check.

How to Track The Status Of Updation Request?

• After you have updated your aadhaar details, you may check the status at https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/CheckAadhaarStatus
• Enter URN or EID in the format 0000/00XXX/XXXXX.
• This is seen on the screen and sent to your registered phone number through SMS.
