The bank launched WhatsApp Banking service in 2022 that enables customers to check their account balance instantly and get mini statement. Customers must register for SBI WhatsApp Banking service with the steps given below:

  • Send SMS WAREG A/C No (917208933148) from your registered mobile number. After registration is complete, you can use SBI's Whatsapp service.
  • Once you are registered, send "Hi" to 909022690226.
  • You will get the option of Account Balance, Mini Statement, De-Register Whatsapp Banking.
  • To check account balance, type 1 and for mini statement, type 2

SBI accountholders can use their mobile application in order to register for its SMS service and after they can conveniently use it to check balance. They need to follow the steps given below to register for the same.

  • REG (Space) Account Number and send it to 09223488888
  • SBI will send customers a registration confirmation message and they can then check the account balance, obtain their mini statement, place chequebook request, secure an e-statement, loan interest certificate, and home loan interest certificate, among others.

  • Customers need to dial the above numbers from their registered mobile number to get balance details on their mobile number.

Customers need to visit their SBI ATM. They need to insert their SBI ATM-cum-debit card, enter 4 digit ATM Pin, and click on "Balance Enquiry" option. You may select "mini statement" option to check the last 10 transactions as well. When you generate your mini statement of your account at the SBI ATM, you can also check your account balance.
