Delhi Laskmi Yojna 2026: How to Apply To get Rs. 2500/month; Check Eligibility, Benefits & More

Good news for women in Delhi as the BJP led government is going to provide a financial help program for women who will receive Rs. 2500 monthly.

Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta headed a review meeting at the Delhi Secretariat on Monday, July 13, to review preparations for the scheme's rollout next month as per a Mint report.

The scheme was introduced by the APP government earlier known as the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana and has now been officially renamed the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana.

Delhi Laskmi Yojna Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for the Delhi lakhmi yojna, women in the state must fulfil the following criteria:
Benefits will be provided only to women who or whose families have been residents of Delhi for at least 10 years
Neither the beneficiary nor any family member should have any criminal record
Family annual income must not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.
Only the eldest woman per family is eligible, and the benefit extends to just one woman per household

Launch timeline

As per reports, The Delhi Lakshmi scheme is expected to roll out around Raksha Bandhan next month but the registration process itself has not yet commenced even though eligibility criteria have been made public.

How to apply For Delhi Lakshmi Yojna

The government is yet to announce the registration process and launch date. Officials are expected to announce details of the registration process, required documents, and mode of disbursal soon.

Who won't qualify for Delhi Lakshmi Yojna?

Women who are already receiving a government pension or any other regular financial assistance will not be eligible.
Women or their families with any kind of criminal record are disqualified. The restriction applies to any family member, not only the woman applying.

Families that own a four-wheeler are also excluded from the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana
